How we produce the comparison
Automated collectors read public Apple regional store pages. Exact model, storage, currency and price are validated before acceptance. Successful observation dates remain attached to prices; failed refreshes do not make old data look new. Daily reference FX comes from Frankfurter.
Editorial responsibility
The site's operator is responsible for its methodology and corrections. Software-assisted research summarizes official tax sources; it is not a review by a tax adviser or an endorsement by Apple. We link the primary sources so you can verify current conditions yourself. No expert credentials or independent audit are claimed.
What we will not do
- Invent prices for missing countries or extrapolate storage premiums.
- Claim that every shopper qualifies for a refund.
- Present an Oregon tax scenario as a nationwide US price.
- Turn a theoretical price floor into a guaranteed landed cost.
- Sell ranking positions or add fake review ratings.
Corrections policy
A useful correction identifies the page, country, exact model and storage, source URL, observation date and the conflicting price or rule. Do not include passport numbers, payment details or other personal documents. A correction is checked against primary sources before the accepted data or guide is changed; historical observations are not silently rewritten as new quotes.
Price observations older than seven days leave current comparisons. Refund estimates stop after the rules' review deadline until reviewed again. History pages retain dated records as history, not live offers.
